FO Friday| Diagonal Blanket
This is the blanket that sparked the little cardigan from last week. I set out to make a lovely wave border but the math didn’t work out. Oh well, will just have to make another one.
I’ve amended the start as the pattern didn’t give a pronounce corner at the start that matched the other edges. Also I slipped the first stitch on each row to give an even edge for putting on the solid border. It’s all in the details baby! The border is six rows of double crochet (UK treble) on a base of single crochet (UK double crochet). All in all the elements of this blanket are super simple and make for an good beginner’s project and also an easy turn brain off project for the more experienced without being totally boring.
You can check out my notes and find the pattern via my project page on Rav.
Hope you have a lovely day and weekend,
